Lynn bought the light-blue over-the-shoulder bag pictured
in these pictures from a street vendor in Siena, just a
block or two from Il Campo. Unfortunately, just a month
or two after arriving home, the cleaning people for
our apartment building threw the bag out in the trash!
The bag was not particularly expensive, but did carry
a great deal of sentimentality for my wife, and so I am
seeking someone who lives in the Siena area who would be
willing to find a vendor who sells this bag, buy one,
and ship it to me. I will be happy to not only pay such
a generous soul for the bag and shipping, but also to
compensate you for your time. If you can help me out,
please contact me at

I've been trying to remember more details on where in
Siena we found the street vendor who sold us this bag.
Here's a timeline that I've come up with to narrow down
the location:
- We drove to Siena from the south, following signs for
"P Il Campo" and parked in that parking garage.
- From there, we headed towards Il Campo, walking up and
down a few steep hills. The first contrada we came upon is pictured here:
- We arrived at Il Campo first with the Palazzo Communale to our left,
as in this picture:
- We walked through Il Campo to the "top" of the piazza, across from
Palazzo Communale, as seen here:
- We then exited Il Campo (I believe from this reconstruction and
the map here that this
would be on the northwest side of Il Campo.) and it was shortly thereafter
that we bought the bag.
- I do have pictures of these two contrada flags from right after we left
Il Campo, and from before we bought the bag. I believe we bought the bag
almost immediately after these pictures were taken.
